What Restrictions are being Lifted in Wales?

Wales has announced today the plan to lifting some lockdown restrictions in the coming weeks, if you are unsure of what these entail, we have a list below for your reference...

From Saturday 13th March 

  • 'Stay At Home' restrictions will change to 'Stay Local'
  • Four people from 2 households can meet up outdoors
  • Outdoor sports facilities such as Golf, Tennis, Basketball can resume
  • Care home visitors are allowed indoors

From Monday 15th March 

  • All primary school children will be back at school
  • Hairdressers and barbers can reopen - with appointments only
  • Schools can bring back year 10 and 12 pupils back

From Monday 22nd March 

  • Supermarkets can gradually reopen non-essential item aisles
  • Garden centres can reopen

From Saturday 27th March

  • The 'Stay Local' message ends and thre will be no limit on travel within Wales
  • You can meet up with more people, 6 people from up to 2 households can meet outdoors
  • Hotels and self-contained accomodation can reopen
  • Organised outdoor activities and sports for U18's can resume
  • Limited opening of outdoor historic places and gardens
  • Libraries can reopen

From Monday 12th April

  • All non-essential shops can reopen

From Monday 26th April

  • Outdoor Dining can open

From Monday 3rd May

  • Gyms and leisure centres can reopen
  • Extended households allowed
  • Indoor supervised activities for children can resume
  • Community centres can reopen
  • Indoor organisaed activities for up to 15 adults can resume
