The company are thrilled to be chosen to work with the Durham-based organisation for a five year contract which starts with a full intranet rebuild project.
Andy Langley, CEO of Ntegra, said: “We are delighted to be working with Northumbrian Water. They have a truly unique approach to driving innovation and change. We believe their ‘can-do’ culture coupled with our experience of successfully delivering digital transformation will prove to be a recipe for success.
“We will be creating an intranet which is responsive, modern, mobile friendly and which is personalised, producing and sharing content which is relevant to each staff member.”
The company’s existing intranet platform is no longer suitable particularly given the challenges of remote working for all employees. So over the coming months, Ntegra will work closely with the Northumbrian Water team to design and implement the new intranet for the 3,000 strong team which works across multiple sites – 60 per cent are office based and 40 per cent out ‘in the field’.
The new intranet will be designed to increase employee engagement, communicate their strong and transparent culture, provide excellent knowledge management, encourage team work and collaboration, securely share company data and apps as well as allowing the sharing of ideas and feedback.
Louise Hunter, corporate affairs director at Northumbrian Water Group, said: “This is a really exciting time in our digital journey and we are really pleased to be working with Ntegra. The new intranet will bring our colleagues closer together as well as support productivity and collaboration right across the business”
The intranet will take several months to complete and it will then be maintained and fine-tuned by the Ntegra team for the next five years.
This is not the first substantial company intranet the Ntegra team have created. They have also designed and implemented one for the biggest brewing group in the world AB InBev which produces brands including Budweiser and also for one of the world’s largest media agencies dentsu.
Ntegra has been a technology gem in the Swindon business community for 18 years. Created in 2003 by freelance IT consultants Andy Jefferies and Bill Hart, the company has gone on to work with brands including Vodafone, Waitrose and WPP. The team are now more than 40 strong in Swindon itself with specialist IT associates worldwide. For more information visit https://ntegra.com
