New housing development approved for Cardiff's Llanilltern Village

Cardiff's west side is set for significant development following the approval of a new phase of housing at Persimmon Homes East Wales’ Llanilltern Village site.

Cardiff Council has granted permission for the construction of 74 new homes as part of the expansion of this major development.

The upcoming phase, called 'Glan y Coed,' will introduce four- and five-bedroom detached homes to the market.

These homes, available in 2025 through the Charles Church brand, are designed to cater to growing local families seeking quality living in a vibrant community.

The 7.3-acre site will also feature spaces dedicated to ecological improvements, community sports pitches, a unique artist-led playground, and a multi-use games area.

This new phase builds on the momentum of Persimmon’s success with The Parish @ Llanilltern Village, which currently offers homes ranging from two to five bedrooms, priced between £189,995 and £469,995.
