1. Where's Wally
Where's Wally is a classic.
If you, or anyone in your household, owns a red and white striped jumper, then this is going to come in very useful for this outfit. (If not, just create red stripes on a white t-shirt using red tape - it works just as well). Pair it with a bobble hat, a pair of your round glasses and your done. Easy peasy!
2. Matilda
Everyone loves Roald Dahl's sweet little Matilda, and it's a very easy, effortless but cool character to go as.
Just put your child in a blue dress, add a little red ribbon in their hair and a pile of books in their hands and wah lah! You now have your very own Matilda.
3. The Boy in the Dress
If you or your child has read the David Walliams best seller, then you'll agree this is a super easy outfit - it says it all in the title.
Just take the dressiest dress that you can find and put your boy in it (even if it's your grannies old frock, the dressier the better!) and that's all you have to do!
4. Harry Potter
Harry Potter is a popular one, but a good one.
Surprisingly, becoming Harry is fairly easy too. The only props you'll be needing is some face paint to recreate Harry's famous scar, a pair of round glasses, a big black cape (or an old black bed sheet if you're REALLY short on time), and a wand (a drumstick will do!). These can be matched with normal school trousers, a white shirt and an old tie.
Perfecto!
5. Hetty Feather
Jacqueline Wilson is a firm favourite for many, so dressing up as one of her characters would fit the bill perfectly.
All you need to become Hetty Feather is a brown/black dress with a white pinny to stick on the front and a little white hat. Finish the look by adding your child's favourite Jacqueline Wilson book (preferably one of the Hetty Feather books) in hand.
You've got your very own Hetty Feather just like that!
