REVIEW: Better Llanishen Leisure Centre

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Llanishen Leisure centre in Cardiff, which is part of the local Better UK network, as it provides a wide range of amenities and activities.

When I arrived I was greeted by the friendly staff who checked me in. I had access to the members only free parking - the machine is so easy to use, you just enter your car registration at reception. I then headed up to their gym which has a great range of Technogym equipment and plenty of space. The air conditioning was greatly appreciated.

It was then time for a class - Llanishen Leisure Centre has so many classes to choose from including group cycle, pilates, dance and tai chi. The Group cycle sessions take place in a dedicated group cycle room which is brilliant and you definitely burn some calories!

As it was the weekend, they had a giant inflatable set up ready for a birthday party which looks like so much fun for the older children and also a super cute soft play and bouncy castle in a dedicated room, perfect for the younger ones.

They have a huge sports hall which offers a range of sports such as badminton, football and squash that can be booked out.

After a workout, it was time for a swim. Llanishen has a fantastic large swimming pool for all the family to enjoy. They offer swim for fitness sessions, family swim sessions and water workout classes. We love spending time as a family here as our little ones absolutely love the mushroom waterfall and all the other amazing water features they have. The wave machine is also lots of fun!

If you're local to Cardiff and looking for somewhere to go for a workout, fitness class or family swim session, Llanishen Leisure Centre is the perfect place! I'd highly recommend checking out the Better UK website to see what your local centre has to offer.

I'd highly recommend Llanishen Leisure Centres fantastic gym facilities for a workout and their swimming pool for lots of family fun!
