Halloween House Party Ideas
Everyone loves Halloween, it's one of the few times a year when we can all dress up like our favourite fictional characters and get excited about sweets. If you're throwing a party this year, why not try some of these sure-fire ways to take it to the next level!
Spooky Apple Bobbing: This one is a Halloween favourite, trying peeling and carving some apples to use as shrunken heads for some apple bobbing.
Eye Pong: There's no 'I' in team, there's no 'I' in Beer Pong, but give this party-favourite a Halloween twist by playing with a glass eye! (A coloured-in ping pong balls works just as well).
Blood Candles: Melt some red candle wax and have it dribble down the side of a white candle to give make it look bloody terrifying!
Glowing Ghosts: To let your guests know where the party is, or to show the rest of the street that you're the undisputed ruler of Halloween, grab some white balloons, draw a ghostly face on them and place a glowstick in them. Attach them to the door and voila! Spooky glowing balloony ghosts!
Mummy Wrap: Get the kiddies involved in the Halloween fun by playing 'Mummy Wrap'. Get them into pairs, give them a couple of rolls of toilet paper or kitchen roll, and the first one to cover one completely like a mummy wins a prize!
Carving a pumpkin is difficult - so if you messed one up, or just aren't that artistic, cut one in half and fill it full of ice. One thing that will surely result in blood-curdling screams is warm beers!
Petrifying Punch: Staying on a keep-all-your-drinks-cold theme, filling a rubber glove full of water and freezing it makes a great addition to any punch bowl full of Halloween cocktails! Just make sure you cut the glove off before you put it in the bowl.
